Our origin
From the Island of Spices
Ceylon Spices exists to bring Sri Lanka's finest harvests to cooks, tea makers, and gift buyers who care about origin and quality.
A trade shaped by coastline, rain, and craft
Sri Lanka has been known for centuries as a source of rare, fragrant spices, most famously true cinnamon. Long before modern supply chains, island growers and peelers developed methods that made Ceylon cinnamon prized across the world.
During the Portuguese and Dutch eras, cinnamon and other spices became central to Indian Ocean trade. Today, that heritage continues through farmers who cultivate cinnamon, pepper, cardamom, cloves, turmeric, and nutmeg across distinct growing regions.
