Sri Lankan nutmeg is grown along the southwestern coastal belt and is harvested at full maturity, yielding seeds with a high volatile oil content. We offer the whole nutmeg surrounded by its scarlet-red mace aril - the rarest part of the spice. Warm, sweet, and complex with hints of clove and pepper, it is essential in both savoury and sweet traditions.
